After years of project managing and designing her family’s real estate investing business; Candice realized the necessity for home staging when selling or leasing real estate. Candice decided “who's better to stage the house then the person that designed it”. And, that's how she got started, and hasn’t looked back since! Candice’s dream is to someday expand her design career to include Commercial Design - retail, hotels, corporate offices, hospitals, etc.
Born in Oakland, and growing up in the Bay Area, the birth place of great entertainers, artist and designers, it is so fitting that she release her colorful and bold creativity while beautifying the community one property at a time. Candice has over 11 years in Retail Management, Marketing and Visual Merchandising experience; and over 8 years as a business owner. She was raised in a very creative family environment, receiving inspiration from her parents and other family members who gave her exposure to residential and commercial construction, event planning, human resource management, and entrepreneurship.
She specializes in Home Staging and Interior Design. She says "I don't have one particular style because I've learn to adapt to my surrounding. Every property has isn't own characteristics, which I design or staging accordingly." Well versed in modern, mid century, minimalist, transitional, contemporary, and lux home design; never forgetting the classic timeless elements that create something new.
Candice Littlefield explains how the idea of staging has progressed. “Being an Interior Designer and Investor in the demanding Bay Area market, I advise my clients on the importance of staging and the fact it has now become a crucial part of property listing. With such a tech savvy world, 98% of potential buyers are searching MLS postings, and make a decision to visit or not visit a property within a few seconds, without leaving their home. Staged properties are sold much faster and over the asking price. A simple setup helps the potential buyer imagine their belongings in the home, and makes it more inviting rather than seeing vacant rooms. You can't believe the difference in a client’s reaction seeing staged homes versus the personally decorated homes."
